Be in the C&E Focus Issue!

You are highly encouraged to submit a research paper, review article, or note based on your poster or oral presentation at the 2014 C&E meeting for publication in a special issue of Cereal Chemistry. Submitted manuscripts will go through the regular peer review process.

Publication of the special issue will occur at the beginning of 2015. Papers must meet the "scope" and quality standards of Cereal Chemistry, as well as length requirements." Most Cereal Chemistry papers are expected to be between 1,500 words ("note" papers) and 7,000 words ("research" papers) and at that length incur no page charges. When submitting your article through Manuscript Central, be sure to select Cereals & Europe Special Issue as the "manuscript type."

New Editor-in-Chief. No Page Charge Fees. Expanded Scope.

Craig Morris, Director, USDA-ARS Western Wheat Quality Laboratory (WWQL), Pullman, Washington, has been named editor-in-chief. Under Morris’s leadership, Cereal Chemistry will expand its scope to include research on underlying genetic mechanisms. Also in 2014—authors whose work is accepted for publication will no longer incur page charges (up to 7,000 words). There’s never been a better time to submit your research to Cereal Chemistry.

Papers submitted to Cereal Chemistry are reviewed by an outstanding editorial board and are edited by a professional staff dedicated to publishing your work at the highest standard of quality.
