Kurt A. Rosentrater

 

Dr. Kurt A. Rosentrater is executive director and CEO of the Distillers Grains Technology Council, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to education and outreach to improve the value and use of distillers grains, which are coproducts from beverage alcohol and fuel ethanol manufacturing. He is also an associate professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering and the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at Iowa State University. For almost two decades, he has actively pursued research to improve the use of grains and coproducts and has been developing a variety of new applications, including enhanced feeds, foods, biofuels, bioplastics, biocomposites, industrial intermediates, and ingredients.
