AACC International to Hold 14th Annual Silent Auction

St. Paul, Minn. (April 20, 2005) — AACC International’s Student Division is hosting a silent auction during the 2005 AACC International Annual Meeting. The annual meeting will be held September 11-14, 2005 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the AACC International Foundation, which provides annual undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships to students in studies relevant to grain-based food science and technology.

The AACC International Foundation is currently accepting donations for the silent auction. In previous years, donated items have included company products, corporate novelties, collectables, and services such as personally prepared meals and consulting time. All donations are tax-deductible.

To donate, e-mail Amanda Aranowski (aaranowski@scisoc.org) at AACC International headquarters indicating your willingness to contribute. Donations must be received at AACC International headquarters by August 29, 2005 or brought directly to the annual meeting.

AACC International is an organization of professionals who contribute to the research, development, and processing of grains and grain-based products.
