world’s largest gathering of grain-based industry professionals will
convene at the 88th American Association of Cereal Chemists (AACC)
Annual Meeting, September 28 - October 2, 2003, at the Oregon Convention
Center, Portland, OR. "The
AACC Annual Meeting is the primary education and networking event for
professionals working in the grain-based foods industry around the
world,” said Khalil Khan, AACC 2003 Technical Program Planning Committee
Chair. “Nearly 300 cutting-edge technical papers highlight the latest
innovations in research and application,” Khan said. The
AACC Annual Meeting Exhibition features more than 225 companies that supply
the ingredients, instruments, equipment, and services necessary for
the work of the grain-based food industry. Members
of the media are invited to attend annual meeting events and complimentary
registration is available. The
American Association of Cereal Chemists (AACC) is an international
organization of nearly 3,500 grain scientists and other professionals who
study the chemistry of cereal grains and their products or work in related
