SCHOLARSHIP

Information:
Students who would like to apply for a scholarship to partially support their attendance at the Workshop, please submit a formal request for a scholarship via e-mail to Prof. Perry K.W. Ng (ngp@msu.edu) after an abstract has been submitted by April 26, 2006 (see details on "Abstract Submission" web link). The abstract/presentation should be at least partially based on the student's own research studies. All requests received by the middle of May 15, 2006, will be reviewed by the Organizing Committee. They will convene a meeting to select scholarship recipients. The scholarship amounts will depend on the available funds received. We will inform the applicant of the Committee's decision by June 5, 2006, regarding the outcome of the request. The request should include the following information (please be sure to submit an abstract prior to April 26, 2006, for eligibility):

1. Full name of the student
2. Title of submitted abstract
3. Institution studying at
4. Name of major professor
5. Study area
6. Degree sought
7. Expected completion date of the degree program
