Instructions for Abstracts

1) WIDTH of Content: 6.5 inches = 165.1 mm (103 to 107 characters/spaces);
i.e., 1" margins on 8.5 x 11 paper)

2) FONT TYPE: Times New Roman (Please set your font, font size, page size and margins before you begin any typing of the document)

3) FONT SIZE: 12

4) LENGTH OF ABSTRACT: Maximum 30 Line Spaces, including everything, i.e., the Abstract, Title, Authors' Names and Affiliations.

5) Deadline Date for Abstract Submission: April 26, 2006 Send to gwheat@ksu.edu and copy to tawanna@gmprc.ksu.edu with the "Word" abstract document as an attachment.

6) Please indicate your preferred session and type of presentation (Oral or Poster). There are only a few oral presentation slots available and the Scientific Committee will make the final decision and inform you related to your submission by May 31, 2006.

Specific formatting

Label "Abstract": Centered, all caps, bold print
Title: Title capitalization, bold print, centered on page
Author's Names: All caps, normal print, centered on page
Affiliations: Sentence case, normal print, centered on page
Text: One paragraph (The example shows a total of 20 line spaces)
