Modern agriculture is required to produce more and better food in a sustainable way. This Sustainability Symposium is intended to provide an opportunity for all members of the food production industry, including product developers, supply chain, and quality managers, to discuss modern plant breeding technologies, the safety assessment process for present and future Biotech crops, and their relevance in the food chain.
Modern plant breeding technologies, including accelerated breeding and molecular approaches, and new ways of combining inputs are providing new ways of improving crop yields. We will examine these technologies in the context of present and potential food and feed benefits. The symposia will cover the entire supply chain, from improving crop yields to managing new molecular traits, regulation, changes in crop management strategies, new ingredients and authentication in the supply chain.
