Association of Cereal
Chemists remains a highly

Each year, at the Annual
Meeting, AACC has the
opportunity to pay homage
to those individuals who
have made extraordinary
contributions to the industry
through their talent and
vision. This special
event will be a time for
all attendees to gather
together and celebrate
individual achievements,
as well as the exciting
events to come over the
next three days. The 2002
AACC Awards Ceremony will
be the highlight of this
dynamic evening, which
will be followed by fine
food and good conversation
at the Welcome Reception. HospitalityA

des Congrés will be dedicated
to attendees who would

with peers after the day's
programming concludes.

and International Executive
Council. The only
city in North America

patrimony, Québec has

old world charm and remarkable
collection of architecture
dating back to the 17th
century. Upon arrival
a guided city tour will
commence in Old Québec,
the birthplace of French
civilization in North
America. Your tour will
include the Latin quarter,
the National Assembly
and Parliament Hill; Dufferin
Terrace cliff-side boardwalk,
Rue de Trésoir street
artists and artisans,
the Citadel, and the Plains
of Abraham, site of the
historic confrontation
between the French and
British armies in 1759
for control of North America.

in one of Old Québec's
charming French restaurants
will be followed by free

Buses will depart from
the Palais des Congrés
at 6:30 a.m. Located
approximately 30 minutes
from downtown Montréal,
this challenging 18-hole
course is nestled against
the base of 1200-foot
high Mont St-Hilaire,
the highest of the Monteregie
region's seven peaks.
This scenic course of
lakes, forests and rolling
hills will challenge any
golfer. Ticket price includes
transportation, continental
breakfast upon arrival,
box lunch, and golf cart.
Club rentals are available
on a limited basis and
must be reserved in advance
on the registration form.
Club rentals are not included
in the ticket price and
must be paid for at the
clubhouse. Tournament
format is a shotgun format
with prizes being awarded.
Proceeds from the tournament
benefit the AACC Bill
Doty Memorial fund, which
has provided a scholarship
or fellowship of at least
$1,000 since 1989.
