General Information

Meeting Attire

"Business Casual" dress is encouraged for all events at the 2002 Annual Meeting. This includes all technical sessions and symposia, exhibition hall, Welcome Reception, and poster sessions. Appropriate dress includes slacks, polo-style shirts, buttoned-down collared shirts, blazers, and sweaters for men; and slacks, casual skirts, polo-style shirts or blouses, blazers or sweaters, and comfortable shoes for women.

Emergency Information

The registration form, included in this packet, provides a space for you to provide AACC staff with any necessary emergency and/or contact information while you are attending the AACC Annual Meeting. A paramedic will be onsite at the convention center during registration hours.

Abstracts and Program Book

Abstracts and Program Books will be given out when you pick up your registration materials in Montréal. An update on the latest meeting program information, including sessions and oral and poster abstracts, will be available in late July on AACCnet. You are encouraged to review abstracts electronically prior to your arrival. Abstracts will also be published in the program book.

Traveling to Canada

From U.S. and other countries: A valid passport is necessary. U.S. residents are exempt, provided they have a valid proof of U.S. permanent residency (notarized birth certificate and/or driver's license). It is the responsibility of the visitor, before entering Canada, to ensure that he or she has the necessary documents, including those for entry into another country or re-entry into his or her own country. Press Coverage

One complimentary registration per approved publication will be allowed for press coverage of the AACC Annual Meeting. Members of the press may register in advance (contact the Meetings and Conventions Department) or onsite (inquire at the AACC Registration Desk). Members of the news media seeking news releases or other meeting information should contact AACC headquarters at +1.651.454.7250.

Photo Release

Many photographs taken throughout the AACC Annual Meeting are used in promotional materials after the meeting has concluded. By virtue of your attendance, you agree to AACC's use of your likeness in said promotional materials.
