To intern or not to intern. Yizhi Meng. Graduate Student, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY.

Choosing a career path is a challenging task. Food Science programs are excellent in paving the way for future scientists, but then there is that time facing a personal decision: to invest the time in an internship or continue a graduate degree. Internship experiences are a rich source for assessing the environment, depth and pace of projects in industry. Ms. Meng will share the professional and personal knowledge gained from a summer internship in Pillsbury.
