VP Product Development (Minneapolis, MN)
We’re looking for a VP of Product Development who can be a part of a growing organization on the verge of dramatic expansion and huge sales increases in specialty ingredients. This person will be a part of strong team of leaders and communicate with all levels of the organization to drive innovative product development initiatives and the company vision. The successful candidate will set a strong example as an excellent communicator, have a track record in developing people and proven success in innovative customer focused Product Development. Some qualifications include:
- 15 years in progressively more responsible Food Product Development roles (Food industry a must)
- Expertise in development and support of R&D team, functioning in a broad product development role that requires both the strategic vision development and the tactical project execution.
- Must have experience in food product innovation and duplication, assessing unmet customer product needs.
- Proven competencies in influencing others, interfacing with sales team and customers, results orientation, executing the vision, analytical skills and maximizing relationships throughout the organization.
- History of developing and enhancing process to drive significant efficiencies.
- MS or PhD in Food Science, Chemistry or related field required.
