Grain Quality Lab Lab Manager
Gilliam County, County Court, Condon, OR
Gilliam County Grain Quality Lab is seeking a motivated, ambitious individual to fill the position of full time Lab Manager. The purpose of this position is to manage, market, coordinate and oversee the operation of the Gilliam County Grain Quality Lab located in North Central Oregon. Position will also include time spent in grain testing, research and analysis.
Lead an experienced team of grain quality professionals working to advance a small analytical laboratory into a well-established regional success. Applicants should be prepared to take on management responsibilities, business recruitment, and demonstrate the marketing expertise necessary to sell the lab’s many capabilities to potential clients. The qualified candidate should have education and/or experience in management and marketing. Laboratory employment experience preferred. This is a unique opportunity to help agricultural producers in rural communities learn innovative ways to add value to their grain products.
Annual salary $40,000, plus generous benefits.
